I The Mighty, Dayshell, Artifex Pereo, and Picturesque at the Palladium

I the Mighty hit the Palladium in Worcester, MA on 9/23 along with Dayshell, Artifex Pereo, and Picturesque. Picturesque opened up the show, and I wasn’t really sure what to expect from them since I had never listened to them before. I was blown away by their performance. They were intense, and along with their high vocals and catchy songs it was a very fun set. I can’t wait to see them again when they come around next!
Next to take the stage was Artifex Pereo, and i didn’t know them before this show either. They were incredible. They have an amazing mix of rock n roll and electronic music and it captivated me almost immediately. They were loud, and so energetic right off the bat, it definitely set the tone for their entire set.
It was music I could get into right then and there even though I didn’t know them. The crowd was giving the energy from the band right back, and that makes the show way more enjoyable for everyone involved.
After Artifex Pereo’s intense set, Dayshell took the stage. At the beginning of the set, singer Shayley Bourget told the crowd that he had the flu, and if he never said that, I don’t think anyone would’ve noticed. He was all over the stage all the night. They were fantastic that night, it was like all they cared about was putting on a great show and they did just that. The crowd was already fired up at this point in the show and the energy just keep flowing all night long and the crowd was going nuts during their set.
And finally, the reason most of us were there, I the Mighty came out and played one of the most energetic sets I’ve ever witnessed. The crowd was so crazy that it was hard for me to hold my camera half the time. They had a ton of guest vocals throughout their set from members of previous bands.
I the Mighty said that they thought this night of the tour would be the worst, but by the end of the night they were proven wrong, by saying that it was actually the best of the tour so far. It definitely is because of the crowd, I was blown away by how much the crowd got into the show. In the middle of their set, I the Mighty handed out 100 shakers to the crowd so that the crowd could participate the next song with them.
Later on in their set, a little kid who looked to be no older than 12 crowd surfed up to the stage and the band let him stay on stage for a couple of minutes, and he jammed out with them. I don’t think I’ve ever seen more people pull out their phones to record something before.
I bet that is something this kid will never forget, it was definitely an awesome moment to experience. I The Mighty put on one hell of a show, and if you ever get the chance to see them, I highly recommend that you take that chance!
