Early 200s emos rise! We have new Alkaline Trio!

Since 2018 with their “Is This Thing Cursed?” album, their 6-7 year silence has brought yet again another great album! Let’s dive in to some hits! 

Now, what I’ve picked up from this album it’s almost a diary, journal about different relationships and how they affect us. Anger, sadness, longing, reflecting. Something we all can relate to. Something we can all put a hand on a shoulder and say “I know what you’re going through”. 

“Blood Hair and Eyeballs” + “Scars”

We’ve all been there. We break up with someone, either a relationship or a friendship and their presence has become a bit of a pain in our lives. We’re angry at the world, saddened, lost. Sometimes the best way to recover from something is to sit with it. 

“Broken Down in a Time Machine”

If you had a Time Machine, would you wanna go back into your past? What would change? What could be made different? If you don’t, why are you scared? Sometimes we all live in our heads. Sometimes we relive past memories and reminisce on what happened. It’s hard. I know I’ve done that many-a-times.
